Room based editing
Hi, It would be useful to allow some room-orientated editing of racks. At this time to edit the slots in a group of racks within a room I must select a rack from the Racks view, apply my changes, and then return to the Racks view to find the next rack within the same room. In my case I have 13 racks, so my table of racks is two pages long and is unordered by default. It would be useful to be able to select and edit other racks within the same room without having to go back into the Racks view again. Additionally it would be useful if the Racks list was ordered alphabetically by default. Many thanks!
Room View - Export rack slot configuration
Hi! Could I suggest in the Room View that you add the option to export the complete rack slot configuration directly into PDF/CSV (as a “room export”)? This option might also work well when racks are filtered in the Rack Comparison view.

Rack slot key-value pairs
To facilitate grouping rack devices, can you add in a key-value pair box which allows the user to input labels or parameters to classify and group the systems? An example would be where I could create multiple key-value pairs for slot devices such as: … The database of key-value pairs should be available to all devices and all rooms and be available to be added to or applied through a drop-down menu in the slot editing view. Key-value pairs should also be searchable (or groupable) so that the locations of each resource can be seen and exported. For example if I wanted to see where all of my AMD systems are, it would show the racks with the device position highlighted in something similar to the rack comparison view (from where I could then export the rack configuration, or export the rack slot configuration). The key-value pair should also be exported into CSV, JSON. This would be a super addition as it would allow for very dynamic views of the inventory.

CSV exports of racks slots are counted top-down
Hi! When I export a rack to CSV, the ‘slot’ column numbering starts at the top slot with number 1. This is incorrect as rack U numbering starts at the lowest slot and works up to the height of the rack in U (usually 24U, 42U or 48U, etc).
Inconsistent export column labels in CSV
Hi, when exporting rack configuration to CSV I noticed that the column labels are inconsistent across racks in a room An example is as follows: Rack 1: slot serial size model fontSize label halfWidth side notes type name color bold textColor id orientation Rack 2: id name model label size textColor color slot notes halfWidth fontSize serial type side bold This makes it tricky to work with the data in Excel. Would it be possible to make the labels
Move To or Copy To option on rack equipment
Hi, would you consider adding an option to copy or move rack equipment from the edit rack view? The use-case is a situation where I want to move a server from Rack01 to Rack02, I right-click it and can select “Copy To” or “Move To - Rack02”. It would be ideal if you selected Move To modal migrated all settings, but the Copy To modal should offer to edit the configuration settings.
Power Consumption per device
Hi, Would you consider adding a feature to manage planned power use across the racks? Very simply by having an input box for the power consumption per device and summarising this per-rack, we can see the total power for the rack. You could then have an option to set a max input per rack (in kW or kVA) and provide a view on the % of the input power used per rack. For example our rack has a power budget of 8kVA at the data centre, but we have equipment which uses 4× 0.5kVA and 1× 1.5kVA, so our total consumption is 5.5kVA of 8kVA.
